A 3-pack assortment of heat-shrink sleeves for your Kidstible sleep-training lamp. One darkening sleeve to further dim the lamp and two style sleeves to add appeal to the lamp.

Add one or layer the sleeves to achieve darkening and styling!

Before installing, consider practicing application with one of the sleeves you don't want to use.

These sleeves are tight to around the lamp before shrinking. That's by design. A few tips for installing...

First, notice that the two stylized sleeves have a top/bottom and front/back. The battery indicator window should be positioned on the front of your lamp. The window isn't centered on the sleeve. That's because the bottom cap of your lamp is taller than the cap on the top of your lamp. The battery level window should be closer to the top of the lamp than to the bottom of the lamp.

Note that it's easier to slide the sleeve on from the bottom of the lamp. Put your hand through the bottom of the sleeve and use your fingers to hold the mouth of the top of the sleeve open. Slide it on from the bottom of the lamp. This can be challenging. Work it!

The tighter the sleeve to start the less the time and heat and material we have to shrink to provide good coverage of the lamp.

Once the sleeve is on and well centered, use a hair dryer on high heat to blast heat around the top edge of the lamp spinning the lamp around. You should see the top edge of the sleeve begin to shrink around the edge of the cap on your lamp. Depending on the hair dryer, you will have to position the dryer close to the lamp!

When heating the sleeve around the mid section of the lamp, start on the seam of the sleeve which should be positioned over the rubber grip of the lamp. Blast that first. then move around the lamp. Don't keep the dryer in one spot, just keep moving it around.

Last, blast the heat over the lower cap of the lamp to shrink the sleeve, it will curl around the lower edge. See product photos.

Do not use a high heat torch or heat gun. Just a household hair dryer. And do not keep the heat blasting the same spot of the lamp for longer than a few seconds.

If you don't like the way it turned out, carefully use scissors to cut it off the lamp. Need a few more sleeves? Reach out!
